Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions (GTC) – DJ Ilir

1. Scope & Booking

 

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by DJ Ilir.

 

A booking becomes binding once the client confirms the booking confirmation from DJ Ilir in writing via email.

 

By confirming the booking, these terms and conditions are automatically accepted.

 

The client is obliged to provide all relevant event information in a timely manner.

 

Any delays caused by missing or incomplete information are the responsibility of the client.

2. Setup Location & Access

 

The client must clearly and timely inform the venue about the designated DJ setup area.

 

The setup area must be accessible, clear, and sufficiently supplied with power.

 

If delays occur due to missing, incorrect, or late information from the client regarding access, setup, or event flow, the client is responsible. The DJ is not liable for any resulting delays or limitations of performance.

3. Equipment Protection & Client Liability

 

The client is liable for all damages caused to the DJ equipment by guests, children, or third parties, including but not limited to:

 

• Speakers or DJ table being knocked over  

• Falling or thrown objects (decorations, lights, glasses, bottles, balloons, etc.)  

• Water damage caused by drinks  

• Intentional damage  

• Damage caused by intoxicated or irresponsible behavior  

 

The DJ is not liable for power issues, power failures, or technical defects of the venue.

4. Playing Time, Additional Hours & Catering

 

The booked playing time starts at the agreed time.

 

Any additional hour will be charged according to the current price list.

 

For events exceeding 8 hours, the client must provide the DJ with a meal and non-alcoholic beverages.

 

If the venue is located more than 2.5 hours from St. Pölten, the client must also provide accommodation for the DJ.

5. Music & Requests

 

The client must inform the DJ in advance about:

 

• Desired music styles  

• Music styles that should NOT be played  

• Whether guest requests are allowed  

 

The DJ is not obligated to fulfill inappropriate, technically unsuitable, or problematic requests.

 

The DJ explicitly does not play:

 

• Nationalistic  

• Extremist  

• Discriminatory  

• Xenophobic  

• Violent or glorifying violence  

• Politically radical  

• Offensive  

 

music or content.

6. Safety, Violence & Event Termination

 

The DJ is entitled to immediately terminate the performance if there is any danger caused by guests, including:

 

• Violence  

• Threats  

• Insults  

• Aggressive behavior  

 

or if the equipment is at risk, for example due to:

 

• Rain  

• Moisture or water  

• Direct sunlight  

• Unprotected outdoor conditions  

• Drinks near the equipment  

• Unsafe or unstable setup conditions  

 

In such cases, the DJ has the right to stop the performance, relocate the equipment to a safe area, or dismantle it immediately without refund.

 

No refund will be granted in such situations.

7. Weather Protection & Outdoor Events

 

For outdoor events, the DJ equipment must be fully protected against:

 

• Rain  

• Direct sunlight  

• Wind  

• Humidity  

• Extreme temperatures  

 

(e.g. by tent, canopy, or pavilion).

 

If there is a weather risk, the DJ is entitled to:

 

• Refuse setup  

• Interrupt the event  

• Immediately dismantle the equipment  

• Move the DJ setup to a protected area  

 

No refund will be granted.

8. Setup & Dismantling

 

Setup requires approximately 60–90 minutes, dismantling approximately 45–60 minutes.

 

The venue must provide timely access and a safe power supply.

9. Cancellation Policy

 

• Up to 30 days before the event: free cancellation  

• 30–14 days before the event: 50% of the agreed total amount  

• Less than 14 days before the event: 100%  

 

Cancellations must be made in writing via email.

 

In case of illness or force majeure, the DJ may provide an equivalent replacement DJ.

10. Payment & Due Date

 

Payment is due only after receipt of the invoice.

 

The client will receive the invoice after booking confirmation, but no later than 4 weeks before the event.

 

Payment must be completed no later than 14 days after the event.

 

Payment can be made:

• by bank transfer, or  

• in cash on the event day  

 

In case of late payment, reminder fees and default interest may be charged according to Austrian law.

11. Data Protection

 

All personal data will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with third parties.

 

Photos or videos taken during the event will only be published with the client’s consent.

12. Jurisdiction

 

Austrian law applies.

 

Place of jurisdiction is St. Pölten or the DJ’s place of residence.
